１年英語科　英語でビブリオバトル発表会

１年英語科では自分の好きな本を英語で紹介する英語でビブリオバトルを行いました。
グループ予選の後、発表を聞いて読みたいと思った作品を選びグループの代表がクラスで全体発表を行いました。
今回の目標は、原稿をなるべく見ずに相手にわかりやすく伝えること、聞き手に読んでみたいと思わせることでした。
前回の社会問題に関するスピーチより堂々として説得力のある良い 発表ができました。

The first grade classes held a book talk competition, where each student shared a favorite book with classmates. Before the book talk, students were asked to reflect on the Social Issues speech day, the first speech competition. Because of their reflection on the previous speech, it was decided that students should only write a few notes on a memo for their book talk and to focus on speaking about their ideas confidently rather than on memorization of a speech. The goal was to make the other students want to read their books by using great communication skills. Because of this, students were able to have more communication with each other and practice speaking to each other using English in a more natural way. The students talked about the plot of their books, why they liked their books, and why they recommended the books to others. All of the students tried very hard and introduced some interesting books to one another. Great job, first graders!
